Katherine Harrison, MSN, RN

Katherine received a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Tennessee.  After volunteering at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital, she answered a personal calling to change careers. In December 2009, she obtained a Master’s Degree in Nursing and will sit for her Pediatric Nurse Practitioner certification in the coming months. 

She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

She loves traveling around the world, baking cookies, playing Hula Hoop on Wii™ Fit, and watching UT football.  She has been happily married to her undergraduate sweetheart Sam Harrison for almost 5 years, who is an Environmental Engineer at Smith, Seckman, Reid, Inc.

Jennifer Flynt, FNP

Jennifer Flynt obtained her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in December 2009. She specialized in family practice, taking a great interest in pediatric care. She worked in a weight loss center before transitioning to pediatrics at Kidzcare in September 2009. She is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society and the American College of Nurse Practitioners.

She lives in Knoxville with her husband, Micah, who is a dietitian, her one-year-old daughter Charli, and her two dogs, Ellie and Ginger. She enjoys the outdoors, reading, and sewing.
